Sosuke Aoyama is a college student without a clear direction in life. After meeting Kozan Shinoda, a suibokuga artist specializing in India-ink painting, he becomes involved in the art form and develops a bond with Shinoda. However, there are aspects of the art world and Shinoda's family that remain hidden from Sosuke's understanding.
