A princess from a small town during a setting blending the Sengoku Era and modern times decides to become a hostage at a wealthier castle to protect her home. Though she sometimes feels lonely, she remains committed to making the best of her new life. Much of her time is spent with Chouya, the castle's heir, who has feelings for her. However, his attempts to pursue her are complicated by her frequent habit of dressing him in women's clothing.
