Senome

A writer named Michio travels to Shirotoge, a remote Japanese village surrounded by dense mountain forests and largely cut off from the outside world. The village is linked to an old folk legend involving strange occurrences and a monstrous entity, as well as the unexplained disappearances of children. Upon his arrival, Michio encounters a strange voice and becomes entangled in unsettling events that challenge even the most logical minds. As ancient fears manifest, they bring about a nightmare that threatens to overwhelm anyone who witnesses them.
