A university student preparing to become a teacher, Haruka Morikawa, is betrayed by her boyfriend, who is also a trainee educator. After drinking alone in a park, she is approached by a man who comforts her. The following day, while student-teaching at a local school—where her ex is also placed—she recognizes the man from the previous night in her classroom.
