Two boys, referred to as Big Master and Small Master, operate a blood-buying business from an abandoned church. A homeless girl named Han-Su has unknowingly become involved in their operations. Big Master seeks to remove Han-Su from the church quickly, needing customers and her blood in particular. Small Master is interested in connecting with the human world and uses Han-Su to irritate his brother. Han-Su, meanwhile, wants to avoid Big Master long enough to remain in the church until she can afford a place of her own. Each character requires something from the others, though the time Han-Su has to understand her situation remains uncertain.
