A hardworking office worker named Hanabishi Inori, struggling under the weight of her job, buys a book in Jimbocho and performs a ritual to summon demons, wishing for her company to be destroyed. A small demon with the appearance of a young boy emerges. Inori, who has been so consumed by work that she has ignored her personal life, starts living with the demon, who is somewhat forgetful but earnest and endearing.
