A woman named Victoria was chosen to work as an assistant for the crown prince of the desert kingdom of El Deharia. She is abruptly taken from her room by the Imperial Guard wearing only a nightgown. Her father, known for gambling debts, is now in trouble for allegedly cheating in a card game with Prince Kateb. The prince is described as having a harsh demeanor and facial scars from a past kidnapping incident in which he supposedly killed someone. He often leaves the palace for extended periods to live in a desert village. Victoria is bound by a promise she made to her dying mother and begs the prince to release her father. He agrees, but only if she agrees to become his lover and join his desert harem.
