Emily goes to Zanzibar to reunite with her sister and brother-in-law in Zimbabwe. She agrees to work as a crew member on a yacht offered by a French trader in exchange for a free trip. The trader is later revealed to be involved in drug trafficking. After being discovered by the sheikh, the trader gives Emily to him as a gift. The sheikh assumes she is a prostitute, ignoring her protests. Emily is now trapped in his opulent palace.
