Shihyakushiki

During the Edo period, Momotaro was assigned by the gods to eliminate demons that used parasitic "bugs" to drain human life. With his loyal companions Kensuke, Saruhiko, and Yukijiro, he engaged in fierce battles until a powerful demon nearly killed them. As they neared death, a god instructed Momotaro to defeat the demon, promising rebirth through a peach and the selection of an immortal vassal for protection. Centuries later, in the Reiwa era, Momotaro is reborn, but not as a human—his new body is that of a chicken. Created by Mochi, known for "Cuticle Detective Inaba" and "The Witch's Servant and the Demon Lord's Horn," this manga blends reincarnation and fantasy elements in a Japanese style.
