Shiin

A man with no memory awakens before an unusual Western-style house called the Kujou Mansion. A talking doll named Mary draws him in, noting a mysterious mark on his arm as a sign of impending death. He must face the "spirit" responsible for the mark before dawn or perish. Joining others who also bear similar marks, he battles the spirits that marked them, racing against time to survive. The story explores whether survival is possible and the reason behind the protagonist's marking. The novel includes new material not found in the original game, offering additional background on the characters.
