Shikatsushi: Joou no Houigaku

Hajime Inukai is studying at H University's medical school with the goal of becoming a clinical doctor. Instead, she is placed in a forensic medical science lab, working under the eccentric but highly capable associate professor Kiriyama Yuki. She is unprepared for the reality of dealing with corpses during autopsies. Her first case with Kiriyama involves what appears to be the suicide of a girl she knew. As they investigate, Hajime experiences brief visions of the deceased girl, as though she were briefly alive again. The situation raises questions about whether Hajime can adapt to forensic medicine and eventually return to treating living patients.
