Arcus Raytheft, the firstborn son of a minor noble family known for magic and martial prowess, is abandoned by his family after displaying no magical ability as a child. Stripped of his inheritance, he is left to be raised by his adoptive sister Lecia, who remains loyal but is bound by duty to avoid association with those deemed burdens. After losing his place in the family, Arcus gains a sudden recollection of a past life in a world where magic does not exist and science dominates. With the knowledge of an adult and no future among his birth family, he sets out to challenge the established rules of magic and the traditions of the Raytheft house.
