Shion was known as the greatest hero in history, the "Hero of Darkness." He had full trust in his party members and was confident they would defeat the Demon Lord together. However, he was betrayed by them in a painful and unexpected way, leaving him barely alive and emotionally scarred. Giving up on life, he wandered into a forest seeking death when a monster approached him. Despite Shion having lost his powers, the monster remained strong. It asked him if he would kill it, and Shion, also wanting to die, responded in a way that changed the course of both their fates.
