Shikotama

Gouriki Tama, a girl who wants to play in the Summer Koushien high-school baseball tournament, joins Kokusai Tenjou Senior High School, an elite baseball academy, and attempts to become the team's starting pitcher. The team captain, Tachibana Sukekiyo, refuses to let her join because she is female. In response, Tama decides to create her own team to defeat the boys' team and become the school's official baseball squad. Her first teammate is Oseki Shiko, a strong sumo wrestler who was also denied a spot on the school's sumo team due to her gender. Shiko becomes Tama's catcher, and together they form the "Shikotamas," determined to beat the all-male team and qualify for the Koushien.
