Shima no Oto

Gentaro, who lost his deaf wife Naomi in an accident, is later confronted with the death of her younger sister Yuko from illness. Yuko, who was reclusive, had a daughter named Shoko, who is also deaf. With no other family, Shoko moves in with Gentaro. The two, both carrying personal burdens, start a new life together on a small island.
