A CD known as "Trigger" is rumored to enhance the intelligence of those who listen to it, but it has also been linked to multiple deaths and disappearances. Chitose's close friend Hayato listens to the CD, and shortly afterward, Hayato and his entire family vanish without a trace. Chitose refuses to accept that Hayato is lost forever and decides to search for him, seeking the truth behind the CDs.
