One year after the end of the war between Earth and its colonies, Heero, Duo, Trowa, and Quatre part ways with their Gundams, sending them toward the sun. Relena Darlian serves as deputy minister of the Earth Sphere Unified Nation. When Relena is kidnapped, a new threat emerges in the form of Marimeia Khushrenada, daughter of Treize Khushrenada and heir to the Barton Foundation. Wufei, pilot of Gundam Nataku, has joined Marimeia's faction. The former Gundam pilots must retrieve their mobile suits and fight once more to stop Marimeia's forces from achieving global domination.
