Shin Tenchi Muyou! Ryououhki

This series consists of three canonical light novels that expand the Tenchi Muyo universe by examining key events and figures from its history. The first book provides background on the father of Ayeka and Sasami, Emperor Azusa, and covers events that occurred after the second OVA series ended. The second installment explores the history of Tenchi’s grandfather, Yosho, and his arrival on Earth following Ryoko’s assault on Jurai. The final book reveals the origins of the brilliant scientist Washu, detailing her life as a deity more than 20,000 years prior.
