Shinakawa Shinjuu

This work presents five well-known Rakugo stories, each adapted into a visual format. The first tale, *Shinakawa Shinjuu*, is about a tragic love story involving a couple who drown themselves in the Shinakawa River. *Ko wakare* tells of a man who is forced to part with his child due to hardship. *Bun Chigai* revolves around a misunderstanding in written communication that leads to unexpected consequences. *Shinkei Kasanegafuchi* is a story set near a famous location, involving a ghostly encounter. The final tale, *Kouya Takao*, follows a young boy from a family of indigo merchants who faces a significant life decision. Each story is presented with its own distinct characters and events, based on traditional Rakugo narratives.
