Ai is an ordinary girl who encounters a man in a difficult situation, unable to afford a meal. Feeling sympathy, she invites him to lunch and later offers him a place to stay for the night. The man leaves the next day without incident, but later Ai runs into him again, raising questions about their unexpected reunion.
