Shinbashi no Miko

A recent graduate from a lower-tier university, Sadao, is unexpectedly transferred to a department in the basement of a high-rise office building. Inside, he meets a shrine maiden named Ichiko, who leads him to a scene where a man is about to assault a woman. Ichiko intervenes and expels a spirit from the attacker, restoring normalcy. She explains that incidents of sexual harassment and assault have increased twentyfold in the past three years due to these spirits influencing human minds. Ichiko’s mission is to eliminate these entities to prevent further escalation. Sadao has been reassigned to this department because he is believed to have the potential to assist in this effort. The nature of Ichiko’s abilities remains a mystery.
