Shingeki no Kyojin: Before the fall

A young weaponsmith named Anheru works at a workshop producing protective gear and weapons for the scouting legion before the invention of the 3D maneuver gear. As a top-tier craftsman, he has direct involvement with the legion’s operations. At this time, the knowledge of Titan weaknesses is unknown, and the story follows Anheru as he begins developing a revolutionary weapon or gear to combat them, potentially leading to the creation of the 3D maneuver gear. A child named Kyukuro is discovered crying in Titan vomit after a dead Titan is burned. Labeled the “Child of Titan,” he faces hostility but joins the scouting legion, seeking to change his fate. Kyukuro manages to survive outside the walls and attempts to use the still-flawed 3D maneuver gear to fight Titans, though it leads to complications. His reasons for battling them remain unclear, possibly linked to his mysterious origins.
