Shinigami Alice

While walking home late at night, Kanogawa Masaki is confronted by an assailant. A small, doll-like girl with a pair of sharp scissors intervenes, killing the attacker and stating it is part of her duty. As part of her role, she is also tasked with eliminating witnesses. For unexplained reasons, she lets Masaki escape. After the encounter, Masaki becomes preoccupied with thoughts of the girl and begins to search for a way to meet her again.
