Shinkokyuu

Kenji Yachi lost his job at a foreign company after almost two decades of employment. Now in his forties, he takes a part-time position at a bento shop, seeking stability after the emotional blow. While adjusting to this new chapter, Haruno unexpectedly shows up. Haruno is a high-achieving professional who earned a graduate degree in the U.S. and had previously informed Yachi of his layoff. Though Yachi wants no contact with him, Haruno visits the shop regularly on weekends, buys a bento, and engages in conversation. His reasons for doing so remain unclear.
