Beni is determined to make her father look foolish, even if it costs her life. One day, she meets Kagetora, a ninja who claims to have fallen from the sky and pledges to protect her. He is a time traveler who has served a princess named Beni for centuries. However, Kagetora is unaware that the Beni he now protects is not the original princess. The story explores how his loyalty and devotion hold up in a very different, modern world.
