Shinobi no

As the Edo Period nears its end, Admiral Matthew Perry leads the American fleet known as "The Black Ships" to demand an end to Japan's isolationist policies and the opening of the country to Western trade. Seeking to prevent war, Abe Masahiro, the shogun's chief councilor, orders his men to locate Sawamura Jinzaburou, one of the last remaining shinobi. The aging ninja is given a secret mission to prove that the shinobi's methods still hold value in this changing era.
