Kyoko possesses a powerful psychic ability that allows spirits to enter her body, altering her appearance to resemble them. One day, she notices her boyfriend’s face, Hashimoto, in her reflection in a mirror, even though he has already ended their relationship. To keep this from her family, she conceals the mirror. She continues to look at it occasionally, unsure of what it means.
