Haruta Hotaka once aspired to be a film director but now finds himself in a state of despair. After 12 years away, he returns to his hometown for his younger sister's wedding. Feeling uneasy, he steps outside and looks skyward, where he notices strange flying shapes—circles, triangles, and squares.
