Shirogane no Ou

A foreign mercenary caught in a street fight is forced to team up with a man carrying a pelt. After surviving the attack, the mercenary is told to serve as the man's bodyguard. He soon discovers the man is the King, who faces frequent assassination attempts and shows clear contempt for his new protector. The bodyguard must navigate the challenge of protecting someone who resists being protected, while trying to uncover the reason behind the King's hostile attitude.
