A facility known as the Death Office is located between the ordinary world and the afterlife. Every deceased individual, regardless of how they died, passes through this place. Those who were innocent are sent to heaven, while those who committed wrongdoings are directed to hell. The story explores conversations with the dead, focusing on lingering desires they may still have after their passing.
