A couple of scientists was taken into custody for carrying out unauthorized research, reportedly involving genetic alterations on five of their offspring. The youngest, Dannis, remained unmodified and is now responsible for caring for the others and seeking a cure to restore them to normal. The modified siblings include a human with dog-like traits, one with plant characteristics, another with spider web abilities, and one with the power to read minds. All were raised in a lab and must now navigate life outside.
