Aiko relocated to Tokyo due to her deep admiration for Shinonome Shion, a mangaka whose work profoundly affected her. Unbeknownst to her, Mao, her reclusive and somber neighbor, is in fact Shinonome. As their relationship develops, Mao faces the challenge of concealing her true identity while dealing with the unrealistic image Aiko holds of her.
