In a futuristic society where individuals are classified by their birthstone, two key elements dominate daily life: "BOX," a vast virtual reality system that handles global data, and "Logiste," a high-stakes dance contest that can be perilous, with winners achieving celebrity status. Kokoro Koyomi is unable to engage with these aspects due to her father's strict prohibition. Despite this, she one day manages to enter BOX without permission, only to become trapped within the virtual environment due to a technical malfunction.
