Koharu works as an editor for shoujo manga and is determined to convince the artist she oversees to create a grand love story. To gather inspiration, she starts a fake romance with a pharmacist named Sawaki. Despite her experience in the genre, she finds it difficult to move the relationship forward. In an effort to collect material, she shares an "adult kiss" with him.
