A boy named Ichiro suffers from amnesia, while Jorgen, who once vowed to meet him again in two years, has spent that time searching for him. Their eventual meeting causes time, which had been halted, to resume. The narrative follows a group of young people who have dedicated their youth to the sport of table tennis, known as the fastest ball game in the world.
