Emi Machida takes a housekeeping job at a run-down home occupied by Akihito Fukase, a well-known author of erotic mystery novels. Despite her initial resistance to his attempts to use her as inspiration for his work, Emi finds herself accepting Fukase’s offer for shelter after her own home is destroyed by fire.
