Shumari

A man with a strong sword arm and a wild nature arrives in Hokkaido during the early Meiji era. Though not originally from the region, he has a respectful relationship with the Ainu people. His journey is driven by the goal of finding his wife, Tae, who has left with his rival. The word "Shumari," from which the title is taken, is an Ainu term meaning "fox."
