Rio moves to a high school where all the students are carnivores. His older brother warns him about the dangers and tells him to pretend to be a wolf, even though he is a small dog. Despite following this advice, Rio is quickly discovered by a classmate named Ryu, who is a fox known for being clever and charming. Ryu agrees to keep Rio's secret, but only if Rio is willing to pay a price for his silence.
