Shura Yukihime: Fukkatsu no Shou

Japan during the Meiji era is undergoing significant change, marked by exploitation and a decline in moral standards. A woman known as Kashima Yuki teaches Swedish gymnastics at a girls' grammar school, seeking to move past a violent history. However, rising conservative political pressures force her to confront her past and fulfill a vow made to someone who saved her life. The story, first published in 1973, was compiled into book form in 2006.
