In a time of widespread destruction, people live in fear of individuals marked with the "Devil’s Mouth," immortal beings who are persecuted and killed, only to return and retaliate against those who wronged them. In a remote town plagued by a vengeful undead, a boy and a girl arrive, offering to put it to rest. The boy carries a mark associated with these feared immortals, raising questions about his true identity and whether he might hold the answer to saving humanity.
