A fantasy manga opens with Sabi, condemned as a heretic in his village, encountering Alice, who carries a unique fate. Alice selects Sabi as her Guardian, a designated companion, before dying in an unusual event in the town. She is later revived, now housing the spirit of the "Holy Priestess" inside her.
