Takamura Rei is tasked with retrieving items from a haunted house and is paired with Kuramoto, a first-time handyman with a background in search and rescue. Kuramoto has a difficult history, and despite his experience, he is not immune to fear—particularly when it comes to haunted locations. Rei finds comfort in Kuramoto's presence, despite his quiet and withdrawn nature. The two must work together to complete the job, navigating the challenges of the setting and their own personal dynamics.
