Ibuki is a high school freshman with physical strength comparable to boys. She is often seen with Mei, a delicate and attractive girl, and the pair are referred to by others as the prince and princess. Ibuki is committed to safeguarding Mei, who suffers from a fear of men due to a past kidnapping during her elementary school years. Asada, a male student, appears intent on pursuing Mei in what seems like a casual challenge.
