A university student named Ban Ritsuki feels unsettled when a man collides with him and comments that he has a face the man finds appealing. The man is actually a lecturer named Takagi Shoutarou, who, for some reason, continues to stay close to Ritsuki. As time passes, Ritsuki becomes increasingly annoyed by Takagi's persistent behavior. However, after witnessing Takagi looking up at the sky with a sorrowful expression, Ritsuki begins to feel concern for him.
