A young man studying art at a school hopes to become a renowned painter. After being betrayed by a teacher he admired, he wakes up aboard a ship that functions as a prison at sea. Without finding a way to escape, he faces a future as a slave. Alongside a friend who was also captured and brought on board, he attempts to flee the ship at all costs. To achieve freedom, he must outwit those in charge.
