Two childhood friends, Shouta and Miwa, both enjoy playing badminton. Miwa, who has feelings for Shouta, encourages him to join the same badminton school, but Shouta, who is laid-back and not serious about the sport, dismisses her and says he plays only for fun. His view of badminton shifts after meeting Yuuhi, a mute girl. During his search for Yuuhi, Shouta meets Anan and decides to take badminton more seriously.
