Cheol-Woong is a college student facing an uncertain future. After saving a stranger, he chooses to pursue a career as a firefighter. In early 2000s South Korea, however, the profession is not as ideal as he expected. As a new recruit, he works hard to meet the demands of the job. His dedication is tested when he experiences an incident that later proves to be a pivotal moment in the country's firefighting history.
