A high school student named Shuuya Inukai is noticed by Kantori Isuzu, a wealthy girl, after she observes an X-shaped scar on his forehead. The mark matches one on her deceased pet dog, leading Isuzu to believe he is the animal's reincarnation. As a result, Shuuya begins being treated as Isuzu's pet.
