A collection of six short stories. The first involves a laid-back, unruly individual and their overly protective partner in a school setting. Another follows two close friends, one of whom witnesses the other's intimate moments with their boyfriend on a nightly basis, leading to a mix of humor and melancholy. A third centers on a man in a relationship with a woman a decade his senior and the resulting dynamic with her son. In another, the uke is sexually involved with five coworkers, not the boyfriend. A final story depicts a violent criminal and their victim.
