A quiet town, distant from Tokyo, is home to a lighthouse with a local legend: tossing a photo of oneself and a loved one over the edge supposedly ensures eternal togetherness. Part-time teacher Izumo is determined to uncover whether there is any truth to the tale. At the same time, he grapples with feelings for his colleague Muroto, which remain unreciprocated.
